A display in a San Francisco shopping center exhibited several young women of all ages with prices attached to their very own bodies. The displays, part of a campaign by the Doing work Group Against Human Trafficking, sought to focus on the issue of people trafficking and to raise awareness of the trouble. The adverts featured the women’s age ranges, weight, level, and other measurements. They also included their countries of arrival and male or female. In the process, the women’s testimonies and the job of the music artists were brought to light.
An unit installation called “Women for Sale” was created by Task Power about Human Trafficking in Sweden, as part of a campaign to build consumption of sexual products and services a criminal offense.
